Monthly free vocal tip by top singer and singing teacher Jeroen Manuhutu from The Netherlands.
People who start singing are sometimes surprised by the amount of energy they have to put into their singing, especially the physical effort. This is exactly the reason why you should be in good physical condition, especially if you are a professional singer. You have to work out and train your abdonimals, your back muscles and the muscles in the lumbar region. It is a good idea to do cardiovascular training like running, cycling, swimming, etc. It is also known that people who get enough physical exercise sleep better at night. This means that you will have more energy in the daytime for your singing. So, what are you waiting for?… On your feet!
