The singer and singing teacher Jeroen Manuhutu started his musical career as a pianist/singer at the Hilton Hotel Schiphol Airport. After 10 years of experience as the singer of the band Blow Your Mind he went to the Conservatory in Tilburg and the Schumann Akademie. With intensive postdoc training he specialized in several singing techniques (a.o. EVTS, Voiceworks Method, SLS, Pahn)
In 2003 Jeroen introduced Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) in The Netherlands. He is the Dutch agent for the Danish Complete Vocal Institute and graduated in 2005 for the 1-Year Course for Professionals where he was taught by Cathrine Sadolin personally. He is currently in training to become an authorized CVT Teacher. In 2007 he took part in a scientific research about CVT which was led by Dr. Julian McGlashan from Queens Medical Center, Nottingham (UK).
Since 2001 Jeroen has been teaching singing, as well in his studio as in music and theatre schools. Among his clientele were well-known artists from the Dutch theatre and musical theatre world.
Jeroen performed in radio and TV shows and sang with lots of sessions and in studios. He performed in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Scotland, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Kenya.
At the moment Jeroen is a member of the Amsterdam Gospel Choir Loud & Proud and the lead singer in dance productions of the producers Subgroover and Sonic Solutions. He had several dance hits in Germany. As a freelance singer he sings solo as well as in vocal groups.
Since 2005 Jeroen has been the main singing teacher at the Vocational Education Artist at the ROC in Tilburg. As a guest teacher he gives postdoc trainings at the Hogeschool Utrecht (University of Applied Sciences) for speech therapists.
In August 2007 Jeroen was one of the representitives of the Complete Vocal Institute at the Pan European Voice Conference (PEVOC7) in Groningen. There he was part of a panel in a discussion about "teaching dangerous qualities" led by Alberto ter Doest.
