Jorge Isaac Feliciano Correa

Jorge Isaac Feliciano Correa's bio

Jorgie Viento is a traveling artist with a very broad range of musical influences from salsa to extreme metal to poetry. His music is a soulful eclectic fusion that can be both melodic and heavy, melancholic but motivational. It touches upon many layers and shades of human emotions.
For Viento music is the healing vibration and the universal language that allows us all to connect with each other and our inner true self. It serves the purpose of the awakening of who we really are, as spiritual beings having a human experience and spreading the love of our eternal essence.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Jorgie Viento taught himself to play guitar at the age of 16 by jamming with musicians and imitating what he heard on the radio. Following a deep depression after withdrawing from the military, he would let his anguish out by performing with heavy bands. His first acoustic song entitled “Alma Acústica” came as the realization of the need to follow his heart as a way of life.
Over the years Viento has built a steady following in poetry circles and open mics all over Puerto Rico & the United States. He has toured extensively and performed both solo and with many bands, artists and projects in New York, Florida, Nevada and California, as well as in Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Spain, Venezuela & Mexico.
