Vocal Coach comments from Janine Le Clair

You have a lovely, clear tone, which to me, sounds more mature than your age! But I’d love to see you smiling and getting away from the ‘stern’ face. Similarly, focus on loosening your jaw and chin area. You’re holding a significant amount of tension there, which is not only inhibiting your muscles from being relaxed, but restricting your tone to a tight, throaty-like sound. Trying massaging your cheeks and chin before you sing, and also practice the song only on one vowel sound, such as ‘aw’ whilst looking in the mirror. You want to see a nice relaxed jaw.
Good job hon! – Janine Le Clair, for VoiceCouncil Magazine
