Vocal Coach comments from Janine Le Clair

Wow, you say you are a late bloomer vocalist, so you are blessed to have a naturally haunting, beautiful tone quality, which seems to quite fit this archaic music. Though I am unfamiliar with this melody, I can hear some pitch issues, particularly at the ends of phrases or when you are holding longer notes. As an exercise to stretch and strengthen your vocal muscles, sustain one pitch for as long as you can, and then repeat on different pitches. Think of it like yoga for the vocalist. The sound quality in this video made it a bit difficult to hear you, but you seem to have wonderful diaphragmatic support and your passion for the song came soaring through! Good for you!
