    You go Josh !!!

  • Hi Josh,

Great voice! I like the blueness of your voice…but shake it up brother, move around a bit. Your pitch is good and you did a nice job of pulling some soul at of little more than a piano track. I encourage you to visit an african american church…you’ll find it inspiring :)

    Hi Josh,
Your sound is fantastic, your intonation solid, your breath control deliberate and your emotional expression I thought was good enough. I could listen to you for a long time. I wish you would create moments in the song when your voice becomes totally ‘locked-in’ RHYTHMICALLY with the accompaniment. You’re great at making your voice float over the rhythms loosely with that great sustained sound, but mix it up! You could totally have us drooling if, from time to time, you slipped into a few measures of more detached, rhythmically energized singing that LOCKS in with the accompaniment. In these moments, leave some space, just like you do when you talk. Be totally in time. You are fantastic
