I just want to share here a WORD !!
This word is COMFORT !! I had several singing teachers; coache , and I understood several things : Vocalises are not meant to be Beautiful or Nice !! Vocalises are meant to train and build the singing process !! to develop good habits !!
I think one of the most important thing is , to feel COMFORT when vocalising , when singing on the stage !!

My God,do I need help! My voice at this time,is the worst it’s ever been. All my fault of course, but troubling just the same.I’m well aware that I spent a lot of years singing improperly which has more than likely done some damage. The smokes are killing me and my voice. Giving up this disgusting habit is one of the hardest things I’ve ever dealt with! I overcame Opioid addiction easier than trying to quit smoking! Just today I got real upset about what has happened to my voice, and I just happened to get this email today as well.Which I do enjoy by the way and I hope they keep on coming.Hopefully,I will learn something. Best of luck to you all! Peace. Don W.
