Your Gig Bag Essentials

This week we’re looking at the things you just couldn’t live without as a vocalist.

Whether it be the trusty water bottle, a particular brand of microphone or even a lucky mascot, we all have those items we simply couldn’t  venture on stage without. In fact, a well packed gigbag is often the key to avoiding those unexpected problems at the venue. This week we’d love to get an insight into your ‘gigging’ essentials. If you want to take a look at some other’s answer to this question – see the links at the end of the article.

So the question is: What do you feel is the most important item in your gigbag?

We’d love to hear what you think on FaceBook and our Forum!

Great Comments from Last Week:

Last week I asked, When covering a song, how do you make your version stand out from the crowd?

Thank-you to Laura D’Orsi who commented…

“Reinvent it and love every moment…close your eyes and feel it”.

Great comments this week guys, keep checking back for more questions and updates.

  • Water bottle, hands down.

  • Lidbass

Favourite microphone and cable, even better two cables. You never know what the soundman will have, more often than not, in the places I play, there ISN’T a soundman!
