Your Gig Bag Essentials?

This week we’re exploring those items you just can’t give without.

It’s just so important that we feel comfortable and ‘at home’ on stage; for many of us this means using our own equipment. Just as a guitarist prefers the feel of a certain brand of strings or a drummer enjoys the sound of a specific cymbal, we too have our ‘go-to’ items when it comes to gigging. So whether its a particular microphone, effects processor, lyric pad or even just a humble bottle of water, we’d like to hear about it.

So the question is: What are the three things you can’t gig without?

Great Comments from last week:

Last week I asked: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car/for karaoke & why?

Sue Nicholls wrote…

“Ride of the Valkyries’ because it’s awesome and totally fires you up”!

Aameer Tarique…

“It depends upon the atmosphere that surrounds me and the ‘raga’ will explore at the moment when i feel and articulate with the nature”.

Katelyn Murdock…

“When I’m rehearsing, The Sound of Music. when just having fun, Living On a Prayer. Why? cause they’re awesome”.

Claire Davidson…

“Two Lives’ by Carpenters, anything from the Japanese Sailor Moon Musicals score, and ‘White Heat’ by Madonna”.

Loving all the great responses this week guys, looking forward to hearing what you have to say next time.

All the best,
