This week we’re looking at your aspirations for 2014.
With a new year comes a new beginning, a chance to review the triumphs of the previous year and establish our ambitions going forward. Perhaps you’re planning on releasing a new E.P or album, embarking on a tour or securing management for your band. Maybe your goal is to conquer the stage-fright that’s held you back or to spend the year exploring what your voice can really do. Whatever it is we’d like to hear about it.
So the question is: Name one (or more!) thing you’d like to achieve as a vocalist in 2014?
Great Comments from last week:
Last week Craig asked: As a vocalist, if you could have one thing for Christmas what would it be and why?
Carolann Skippy Watkins commented…
“I’d love to sing in a big place with a band and raise money for children that would never get anything for Christmas. I love singing and everyone loves my voice so I’d love to do that for all the poor children getting nothing”.
Teresa Belue Swanner…
“I have bad legs…. and I used to be able to really rock out on stage…vocally and physically. If I could have one wish as a vocalist, it would have to be, have my legs work well again. That would make me very happy.”
Mechelle Jernigan Herrigton…
“I would love to have a ‘blue bird’ mic and some recording equipment of my own…just for when I wake up with a song in my head or for impromptu moments. I sang on a ‘bluebird’ once and well it was magical”.
Thanks for sharing your Christmas wishes with me this week guys…I’ve loved reading all your comments. Merry Christmas from Voice Council magazine, don’t forget to check out next week’s Q&A.
