This week we’re contemplating your soundtrack for 2013
Whoever we are, and whatever our musical taste, music has an innate ability to transport us back in time, to ignite certain memories and to remind us of how we felt the first time we heard that track. As we enter a new year, we’d like to hear about the songs that shaped your year & why those pieces in particular are so special to you.
So the question is: Which song/album sums up the year 2013 for you & why?
Great Comments from last week:
Last week Craig asked: Name three things you’d like to achieve as a vocalist in 2014?
Erin Mendova wrote…
“Finding myself and where I belong in the industry. Help motivate others to not give up on their dreams”.
Shane Griffiths commented…
“Develop a good practice routine and consistency of performance.. Oh and remember to drink enough water”.
Robert Pippins responded…
“If I were rich I would gladly preform 4 FREE because I absolutely Love singing, and seeing the joy it brings to others. Unfortunately I am not rich, so to answer your question I need more paying gigs in 2014 whereas I can pay my bills”.
Angelo Vitiello posted…
“Achieve regular performance slots. Record my solo album and finish the other half of my band’s album”.
Thank-you for all the comments & insights you’ve shared over 2013 facebookers! Happy New Year from everyone here at Voice Council HQ & best of luck with achieving your vocal ambitions in 2014.
All the best,
