This week we’re exploring ways to increase our vocal stamina
As singers, there are times when it doesn’t just rain – it pours! In a studio session scenario singers are often required to work at the top of their game for hours on end. Or, singers be out on the gigging circuit clocking up anywhere between five and ten gigs a week. However, the voice is muscle that’s subject to strain and tiring. So how do we keep up with demand whilst protecting ourselves from vocal damage? This week we’d like to hear your thoughts on this.
So the question is: As singers, heavy workload and vigorous gigging schedules can be very tiring to the voice. What advice would you give to a singer looking to increase their vocal stamina?
